Painting is probably one of my favorite activities. I always enjoyed painting and crafts, although unfortunately I’ve never been a very neat person, so crafts were not my strong point in the world of Arts. Painting, though, is more forgiving. After all, no one told Jackson Pollock that he spilled some paint on the canvas.
That’s [...]

Last time I checked, when people talked about colors, it was related to fashion. Some years later, I see that color is used in therapies that are supposed to balance your energy, and even children are labeled with colors .
Indigo Children is a concept that was developed by Nancy Anne Tappe, and that states that [...]

When I hear the word blood, I automatically relate it to gore, and get different versions of its use: coming from red elevators and flooding an hotel hall, coming from the sink and flooding the bathroom, or produced, bottled and labeled as “Tru Blood” in order to keep vampires away from necks. Coming from a high school where sexual education was banned, my only knowledge of sex was based on Cosmopolitan. When we hear the word schizophrenia, we immediately relate it to names such as Mark David Chapman, John Lennon’s murderer, who was denied parole for the 5th time this year. The word sounds like chaos, violence and danger.
The truth is, non-treated schizophrenia can lead to all these events, but in general, people know little about [...]

Getting on a plane is a traumatic experience in and of its own.
With all those terrorists running around, one might get truly frightened by the experience. It can be horrible if you just get messed up and sick from the plane ride itself.
Luckily, Illumistreamhas given us some great tips on traveling well:
Put a stop to [...]

Ah, Mexico…
The land of improvised fireworks, Piñatas, and people named Jesus.
Mexico is also a great place to score some generic brand medication without a prescription from your local doctor. Although 5min does not in any way support self-medication of any kind, as this practice is illegal and could lead to some serious health problems, we [...]

Ah, the things you need… You can’t always get what you want, and there are things you had no idea just how much you needed them until after you got them.
Take the latest iPhone, for example. One day you don’t even know it exists, and the next day you’re burning with desire for one of [...]
