Lost in Translation?

When I think about Japan, many images come to my mind: Harajuku Girls, Oshin, and of course, Bill Murray singing Roxy Music’s “More Than This” .
The truth is, I always felt a bit intimidated by this futuristic idea, plus the classic snapshot of people being squashed into the subway during peak hours. But City by City showed me that Tokyo has a lot more to offer. Besides having the largest seafood market in the world, and lots of fun street fashion, it’s the home for neat and classy design.
The thought of massive amounts of sushi and wild karaoke nights make me consider Tokyo as my next travel destination. Even if I get lost in translation.
